I wish we could feed everyone. Obviously, we cannot but we can still help. We support a couple of kids from 3rd world countries. A monthly check helps provide fod, medicine, clothig and an education. Find a good organization with low administrative costs and give if you are able. Support local churches that send support to those in need. Something else you can consider if you really feel a burden for the poor is consider joining the Peace Corp or Job Corp and go to them to help.

Go to the reason for that. Bad governments the world produces enough food. It is the selfish interest of governments to make food so expensive that they cannot afford to eat.
Third world governments the leaders eat really well. Have imported wines and nuts.
While they use the people like slaves and buy young girls from poor family's. It is bad government and until you get rid of religion and fanatics who view only ones in their religion worth living you will have children suffering.

I send $18.00 every month to Children International; it's a small amount, but they use it to help feed a family. If more people contributed a small amount like that, more children would eat. There are many groups that do that, research them and pick the one that you think does what you want. You can also go to neighborhood shelters and soup kitchens and donate your time and/or money. None of us can feed the world, but if each of us does a small part, we can greatly decrease the number of starving children.

Insist that Bush spend our money feeding them rather then on his farce of a war against terrorism - that is only creating more terrorists!

If we would have been doing this over the last 60 years we would not be having all of the problems in the Middle East that we are now experiencing!

In fact there is enough of food. There is enough of money around too.
From many answers it would seem that it is an easy option to ridicule the underprivileged.
That way we can keep misery far from us (we think).

As far as those not in America, Teach them to feed themselves. This should have been done years ago. Then we could afford to take care of those in America. I tire of the nonsense. Everyone begs for monies for foreign kids and adopts foreign kids. Take care of the kids here. Make sure they have food and shelter.

Well, in the US, maybe cut the military budget in half, then we could feed our own and the children around the world as well.
