It's called friends with benefits and it's quite normal especially in this day and time.
If it feels good, do it!

I have been in a situation where sleeping with my ex was just taking steps backwards instead of moving forward. There was a reason for the breakup and there is nothing fun about playing with emotions. There must be some emotion left over if you are willing to sleep with him. Sleeping with your ex may also be an excuse to have some connection with them. Creating an excuse to be attached while still appearing as though you don't need every part of them... that is not the case. How would you feel if they said " okay that was good, but i met someone else..." do you have a right to get upset? No. Because you were just buddies, but emotions you have no control over may be bruised. On a lighter note if the sex is really that good and you don't want to go out and find someone just for sex then try it and see how you feel, but remember that habits are easier to form than to break.
I wish you the best of luck

No...Not at all. All you are doing is finding a substitute for "Empty Bed Syndrome". It is also a major turn off to any potential "other-halfs".
I was a f**k buddie to my ex-girlfriend, and ended up feeling like a right prick when I got told she was getting "serious" with another guy. Oh, and it hurt like hell. I wish I had never agreed to it.
At the end of the day, if you are that desperate, buy a "Rabbit"!
No committment. No mess (I'm told only the fun kind!). And you don't have tell them to bugger off the next day!
Hope this helps!

Messy. Because the desire to want to get back together will be there, plus if your ex has any baggage that they can not get rid of it will only complicate the friendship let alone being in a relationship

It may start off as fun but it usually ends up as messy!

Not a good idea! One person always wants more than the other, in terms of getting back together, and they will only end up getting hurt

Under NO circumstances should former b/f or g/f be a f***buddy. Once anyone is a "former" they should be out of your life and most certainly out of your bed!

It's just not worth it, one will always want more and it hurts both involved. I'd just try to move on with someone else.
