I am sorry you have received such difficult answers to a obviously personal question for you. I, as a Christian, do find similar situations frustrating as you do. Christians, when we disagree, SOMETIMES react very emotionally to their pet issue. But being a Christian isn't so much about the issues but about a realization of our spiritual condition (that we are all in a state of sin and are in no condition to free ourselves from that condition) and the solution (that God so loved the world that He sent Jesus Christ that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life). To put it more simply, we all need God, through Jesus Christ, to save us from ourselves--this is the heart of Christianity.

I take it that you are not a Christian but have some semblance of teaching of the faith. I encourage you to not look upon the sins of the church but look to God for your answers. If you really want to take a look at the Christian faith seriously, I encourage you to look for an Alpha group (check out http://www.alphana.org ). This is an open time for you to ask your questions and get some answers, without judgement or ...you might be pleasently surprised that Christians DO agree on many issues, especially the most important issues. God bless you on your journey.

good point... there are a lot of people who say they are christian, but they dont know what true christianity is... also there are a lot of other religions that are just a part of christianity...

christianity is what you said they are... but catholicism, baptists, pentacostal, even mourmons... fall under christianity

true christianity is anyone who believes in jesus as our lord and savior, and take everything in the bible as true and only the bible....

catholics take stuff out of the bible, baptists dont use the holy spirit the way god watned us to, mourmon are completely confused about what the bible is, and pentacostals take the holy spirit as very supernatural... not that thats wrong... but as long as the people lieve a christ filled life liek the bible teaches, they are christian.

i want to say that as a true christian, spirituality is a big part in christianity... anyone that does not know this are not really in christ and jsut say that christianity is a religion, not a lifestyle.... thats the difference between us.

im sorry that tehre are some people that are so oblivious to the truth and give you a different message

everyone else is just confused and they need more teaching

How do you even know you were talking to christians?
Many claim to be christians. It's the "In" thing for religion today.
The question you ask about spirituality will always get you different and confusing answers.
There are "spiritualists" who do not believe in God, rather, they worship the earth and the universe. And then there is true Spirituality which comes from God. Maybe you need to clarify which "Spirituality" you are referring to.
Satanists can claim to be spiritual.
Just depends which Spirit you choose to be filled with.
I choose the Spirit of Christ Jesus, as such, my answers come from His Spirit.

I agree. A christian does believe in the Trinity (father, son , holy spirit) and the Bible does back it up. But it also says in the bible that where two or more Christian can agree on something, that is where God will be. And there are many denominations of Christianity.

I find it hilarious how they will tell you "Well a true Xian would never....bla, bla, bla"
But yet when they count their numbers on a global scale, they will include all those "Non-true Christians" in their numbers!
Which is it people? You can't have it BOTH ways!
....and they wonder where all the "stupid" & "crazy" labels came from!

You will find much less variation in the Pagan/Wiccan/Pantheist beliefs, and we get our belief from thousands of different texts!
Or maybe we just don't see the point in arguing our differences of spiritual phylosophy!

Perhaps there is a problem with your definition of spirituality...The fact is the earth has no soul. Expecting Christan's to agree with your definition of a soul is ignorant...Christians will answer questions if you seek the truth if you are asking for pagan definitions you should ask a pagan.

If you're not a christian, how can you determine the true meaning of spirituality? Every point a person makes needs to have a positve source.

You just stated yourself that Christians agree on the Bible and believe that faith in Jesus Christ as their savior will save them from their sinful nature.
