I prefer Canidae and it is an all stage food so once your dog becomes an adult you will not have to change foods.

They are both ok brands, but for what breed? A large breed puppy needs a food specailly formulated for him/her while a smaller breed needs something else. Read the ingredients and analysis of both brands and find out which one is better for your breed of dog.

When, you take it for a check up or something else you need at the vet, ask them. They, will help you or give you someother brand. I would ask your vet instead of Yahoo Answers People.
