I know about the use of wetting agents added to water to fight fires and they are expensive. I also know of something new being tried. Anyone out there know about an organic substance being tried?

Sure. Alot of foams and wetting agents are protein based and therefore considered organic. This, however, isn't anything new, protein foams have been around for years.
