Were I not an agriculturalist and know better, I would say that this was a "cool" idea.
Unfortunately, it is not quite so simplistic.
The global warming we are already experiencing will cause the polar ice caps to melt, and raise the level of the oceans. This has already happened to some extent....we have lost several atolls, and an island just off of the coast of India is inches away from going under the waves. There will actually be less land to live on, and less land to farm.
Secondly, as the earth's overall temperature rises, so will the temperature rise at the equater. This will create a desert-like condition that will rival Death Valley in heat. People won't be able to live there, much less farm there. Thus, we will have less land to live on, and less land to farm.
Thirdly, global warming does more than simply heat up the earth...it creates out of control weather conditions. Greater tornadoes, harsher ice storms, more powerful hurricanes. And, as the United States is currently experiencing, see-saw temperatures between far warmer than normal conditions one day, and far below normal freezing temperatures the next. (More than one meteorological scientist in my area have said that the odd weather this winter was a combination of global warming and El Nino.)
So, unfortunately your hypothesis would not work on our planet. It might, however, work on Mars, which needs some greenhouse gasses in order to make it habitable for humans if we ever wish to colonize it.

In the time of the dinosaurs, the environment had adapted to much warmer climates. The global temperature has since dropped considerably, and therefore all ecosystems are made for climates fitting the earth in its current state.
Global warming will wipe out all sorts of plant and animal life, and make many places uninhabitable by humans.

properly, you would have executed learn yet your learn is mistaken. (see less than). even with if levels of CO2 improve, they do no longer reason climate warming. listed less than are some data. First, the solar does no longer warmth the air right now. The solar warms the sea and the floor which radiate the nice and comfortable temperature and heat the air. So, some use this to declare that higher CO2 has a "greenhouse" bring about that it hiders the radiation of warm temperature decrease back into area. authentic sufficient. notwithstanding, that isn't any longer all higher CO2 levels do. in addition they improve cloud cover by technique of raising humidity levels. Ever honestly seem at a greenhouse? See the condesation on the glass? CO2 will improve cloud cover which blocks the solar's radiation and also leads to cooler temperatures. so that you spot, this finished surroundings is self-correcting. The extra Carbon Dioxide you emit, the added effective plant life strengthen. plant life breathe in Carbon Dioxide and substances off Oxygen. CO2 has a greenhouse bring about that it inhibits warmth from escaping notwithstanding it also produces cloud cover that inhibits warmth from getting to the exterior to warmth the air contained in the first position. decrease back to stability. This surroundings we call Earth isn't all that fragile. the in user-friendly words component tremendous sufficient to reason dramatic adjustments is global climate is the solar. It does this on each and every of the planets. extra photo voltaic pastime, global warming. a lot less photo voltaic pastime global ice age. All this lengthy earlier the first guy even existed. It occurrs now and could occurr lengthy after guy has lengthy gone. no longer some thing I actually have stated right here's unfaithful. I defy all of us to coach it to be pretend. *

In a lot of places, winter brings the only moisture we get. If it were not for winter snows, much of west and northwest Texas would be uninhabitable desert. I'm sure that goes for a number of other places around the globe as well.
Also a number of crops we rely on, such as wheat and oats, are cool season crops. You plant them in the fall and they grow over the winter (least in the south they do). Make it warm all the time, and you can kiss that piece of toast you eat in the mornings goodbye.

The dinosaurs are extinct buddy do you know why? Neither do I but the fact that they are not living today coupled with your desire to resort us back to prehistoric temperatures is appalling. Global Warming is not gondolas in NYC it is the utter devastation of the world. Hundreds of millions of lives and livelihoods will be lost. It will be a catastrophe we would never be able to recover from. Your attitude is dangerous and before you begin to make such ignorant claims I advise you to study the topic of climate change and global warming. Then ask yourself would your home be underwater would you even be alive?

Oh, you're being sarcastic. As many prominent scientists have said, there is no such thing as global warming in the way the Al Gores of the world have been telling us. It is the natural cyclical warming and cooling of the Earth. What your purpose is simply foolish.

So we all die from chemical poisoning. If you had any idea of what your talking about you'd know that is the base compound for a number of extremely poisonous gases.
Go check oout surface conditions and atmospheric cmoposition on Venus, genius.

Sure, I think that's a great idea. Maybe we should detonate a few nuclear bombs so that the persisting readioactive fallout will create more warmth, and give us all a tan.
