if you think your dog has breathing problems, you need to take it to the vet and find out WHY - dogs usually dont just get asthma without some other medical diagnosis, You could kill your dog that way

I wouldn't do it. It could make the dog sick. Go to the vet and get dog asthma medicine.

Absolutely not, you might kill the dog. Never, ever give any human medicine to a dog, unless your vet tells you to do so. Your dog really needs to see a veterinarian now, if he has asthma. If it is asthma, and it is having problems breathing, please don't wait any longer, get it to the vet now.

If you need backup emergency meds, go to your vet. They will be able to provide you with teqniques and meds to help you. Don't use human inhalers, they don't work the same way.
