Yes, 'The Selfish Gene' by Richard Dawkins.
There was even a book published last year as to how it has changed the world.
And is that 'right attitude' something like, with a credulous and uncritical mind by any chance?

The Book Of Moron, I mean Mormon, is a total fabrication. Joseph Smith was the ultimate con man. Where is your judgement day? It was predicted to happen about a hundred years ago (Smith said it would happen within his generation). Didn't happen. For a prophet, Smith was a good con man. None of his "prophecies" came true. And how many "promised lands" did he lead his people to? "God wants us to live here forever, oops, he changed his mind, now we all have to move here". What nonsense, it's all fiction and it's unbelievable how many people think it's a real religion.
Proof:
February 14th 1835, Smith says "The coming of the Lord, which is nigh - even fifty-six years should wind up the scene." 1835 + 56 years = 1891. I checked, Jesus did not return in 1891.
September 1830, in a revelation, God decrees that the elect shall be gathered into one place "against the day when tribulation and desolation are sent forth upon the wicked."
The "one place" to which Mormons were to gather changed as they were driven from one location to another.
September 21st, 1823, the angel Moroni tells Smith that Isaiah 11 is "about to be fulfilled." This prophecy has not yet come to pass (183 years later).
Shouldn't a prophet be right more times than he is wrong? Not Joseph Smith.
If you want the truth, read a well researched book on the topic called "One Nation Under Gods" by Richard Abanes. This is a book that WILL change your life for the better.

Yes, it is excellent... good point about the right attitude, seevral of these big-mouths here say they have but they were like Laman and Lemuel - they did all the right things too, but they had a bad attitude about it... look where they ended up. Attitude in doing things is very important. I agree... and I would have to agree with the universe statement... I guess there are several "aliens" on here to that one answerer who called you an alien... lol

Joseph Smith was a false prophet enlightened by the devil as are all false prophets who meet angelic beings with other messages than the word of God the Holy Bible. For this one reason, God gave us the Bible and the Jewish people to make sure it survived.
DNA disproved Smith and his teaching of the first Americans were Jews.
All Mormons are the victims of the tall tales of Joseph Smith. There is only One True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for the Salvation of sinners on the cross of calvary.
Joseph Smith knew just enough of God's word to be a dangerous false prophet.
The LIFE CHANGING BOOK is the HOLY BIBLE. Please read it.
The Lord God says, "I am God and I do not change."

Wow you have read every book in the universe to make this claim.. No wonder you think like joseph smith.. your minds think alike.. making statements that are uneducated and completely one sided and blind. They call this delusions of grandeur.
Do you ever wonder why The Mormon's book of names is shrinking instead of growing? and why the Mormon church refuses to remove the names of people who no longer are members.

Beginning in the 1830s, at least thirty-three women married Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism. These were passionate relationships which also had some longevity, except in cases such as that of two young sisters, one of whom was discovered by Joseph's first wife, Emma, in a locked bedroom with the prophet. Emma remained a steadfast opponent of polygamy throughout her life.
The majority of Smith's wives were younger than he, and one-third were between fourteen and twenty years of age. Another third were already married, and some of the husbands served as witnesses at their own wife's polyandrous wedding. In addition, some of the wives hinted that they bore Smith children—most notably Sylvia Sessions's daughter Josephine—although the children carried their stepfather's surname.
For all of Smith's wives, the experience of being secretly married was socially isolating, emotionally draining, and sexually frustrating. Despite the spiritual and temporal benefits, which they acknowledged, they found their faith tested to the limit of its endurance. After Smith's death in 1844, their lives became even more "lonely and desolate." One even joined a convent. The majority were appropriated by Smith's successors, based on the Old Testament law of the Levirate, and had children by them, though they considered these guardianships unsatisfying. Others stayed in the Midwest and remarried, while one moved to California. But all considered their lives unhappy, except for the joy they found in their children and grandchildren.

You must have been ready for the types of answers you'd get with a question/statement like this. They are so stereotypical and boring. I do agree with you though, that most people, when they are studying a religion other then their own, have already made up their mind and are closed minded to the liklihood of any truth. I love studying religions, and when I do so I try to put myself in the shoes of its followers/believers. This is the only way to do it. Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture.

Yes! I have read it many times and I love it! I firmly believe any person that reads the Book of Mormon and lives by its teachings, can become closer to the Lord than by ANY other way.

I've read it. But there's no evidence that any of it is true. The angel Moroni took those gold tablets back to heaven. How convenient.
