The bazooka, our Aircraft carriers, and the A-bomb.
The bazooka was responsible for knocking out all of those dreaded Nazi tanks that were so hard to otherwise destroy and stop that did so much damage to our troops, etc.
Our Aircraft Carriers were responsible for winning the war in the Pacific against the Japanese.
And the A-Bomb helped the Japanese make up their minds about continuing the war.

Uh, one of the first people killed in the Revolutionary war was a black guy. Black soldiers fought on both sides during the civil war. If getting killed on the assault on the Fort in South Carolina (movie glory) isn't the front lines, then I suggest you look up the massacre at Poison Springs. If that isn't the front lines I don't know what was. Might also check out the Buffalo soldiers of the Indian wars. Units may have been segregated but that didn't keep them off the front lines or out of harms way.

Aircraft carriers - they marked the end of the Battleship
Atomic bombs - they introduced the atomic age
and the computer - not a weapon per say, but the cyphering they accomplished saved thousands of lives and helped defeat the enemy.
but if it has to be a weapon, I would say ballistic Rockets- German V2
But you can also argue jet aircraft
sonar
and Radar
