hello, your sperm had something to do with it fool...... you were an equal partner..... unfortunatly i see so many children who are brought into this world by irresponsible people who do not want to change their life despite their selfish choice to have their freedom and well let a child into the world.... of course these kids are usually messed up...... either she should get an abortion or you should realize that you are going to be a father and accept the responsibility with your heart and mind.

I know people that got pregnant on birth control. It Happens. That is why if you do not want a child, you should use a condom and spermicide. It is just as must your fault as well as her.
Ready or not you will be a father. What kind of father will you be? One that you are a dad, or are you going to be one that gives money and not see it.
You are 22 years old. Will your mother be more upset that you got a women pregnant, and not take any reasonably with the child. You have to grow up.
Good luck with your child.

No form of birth control is 100%. If she had recently been on antibiotics it could have messed with her pills...this is common knowledge. Even though she was on the pill you still need to use another form of protection. The only advice I can give you is to love and support your child. It's really your only option, unless you want to be a deadbeat and take off.

first of all, be responsible for your own actions. certain circumstances can also cause a mishap, such as, compatibility with medications and the pill. you may be right. she may have gotten pregnant on purpose. its a little too late to cause conflict. you're in it for the lifetime of the baby and also with gf. guys out there. you are responsible too. learn from this. she or you could have had a std, then what? the pill isn't the answer to todays problems with std/pregnancy.

First, I'd quiz her friend on what your g/f told her, then tell her the truth. Then find out if your g/f uses Yahoo Answers and what her screen name is. I see all kind of questions on here from girls trying to figure out how to get pregnant quick by there boyfriends.
Plus she's 29. By that age girls are going crazy trying to have there first kid before their bio clock stops ticking. Unfortunately you're 22 and wouldn't have known that yet.
ps. Is this her? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aj8CRDUKKar0nbd8dxIoWiR97hR.?qid=20070127120404AA29FaG

1- ask her
2 stop being a mama boy because you should have been as responsible as she is
3- if you mom had pay for your college she should ask you to reimburse he ASAP because to put it nicely you are a cry baby
So boy tied your belt and take the responsibility of not taking some resposility where Birthcontrol is concern

Dang! Your saying you've been with her for 4 1/2 years, and the "what if I get pregnant" topic never came up? Sucks to be you!! Whether or not she did it intentionally, you may never know...and quite frankly,it's childish and petty. Now that your going to be a Dad, you should try to realize that what you really should be doing is helping her to ensure your child will be healthy. My advice, GROW UP!!!!

my sister got pregnant while on the pill, the only form of birth control that is 100% accurate is abstinence.
Guess you should of thought about "not being ready to be a dad" before you decided to have "adult relations"

A 22-yr. old who doesn't know how to protect himself from pregnancy is pitiful.
Now, I guess you two are going to have to TALK instead of boink!

well for one, just one kind of birthcontrol is NOT affective... I am living proof... so just sit her down and talk to her about it... God doesn't let anything happen that isn't suppose to happen... Good luck!
