Please take her to the ER right away. Teething is often blamed for making babies sick when in fact it does not. It may make them drool and make them fussy but it does not make them sick.
A fever of 104.6 is way too high to mess with. Take her in for medical care right away!
Good Luck!

A temperature of this level is needed for medical treatment immediately. When children teeth, they do get temps but not at this level. A temp of 104.6 can cause seizures. Please take your baby to the hospital. Good luck to you

Once a child has a fever this high they can have a seizure. You dont want this to happen at home so call her doctor and see what he says.... Skip the Tylenol, that does nothing to bring down a fever so high. Give her some Advil or Motrin, it contains ibuprofen and that is a MUCH better fever reliever.

okay, strip her down to her diaper and give her 15 mins or so and then recheck it, if it is still that high try giving her a lukewarm bath and giving her some cool liquids to drink, you can also try tylenol and motrin, my pediatrician says that fever is a symptom and not an illness so you treat the symptom, if the fever continues over 100.5 for 48 hours then you need to take her to the clinic, we did this about 3 months ago and temp got to 104.7 and i freaked out but the after hours clinic just called it a febrile virus and told me to do these things, i hope this helps!

Because a fever can occur with many different conditions, other signs and symptoms can often help identify the cause. If you don't know why she have a fever, it's best not to try to lower her temperature. Call the dotor asap!!!!!!

i would call her dr's office. teething has nothing to do with a fever this high. i just went through this last week with my 1 year old. their suggestion was to strip the baby down to a diaper, don't hold them too much, which i know is the hardest part, but your body temp will make her even hotter. the children's hospital near me that i called when my daughter's temp was 104.3 last week told me they say not to bring them in until it's over 105. but i sure wouldn't wait that long, i would call her doctor now and let them know how high her temp is. good luck.

You need to take action immediately! Assuming that you read the temp correctly, that is way too high.
Give your kid some Tylenol and call your doctor immediately. If you don't have a doctor, go to the ER. A sustained temp of 104 is too high and very dangerous.
Also, don't bundle your baby. That will increase their body heat!

Get to the ER NOW!!, Just because she doesn't have any teeth yet, doesn't mean she isn't teething.
