yes go back blonde. Iam a blonde and a few years ago i dyed my hair a dark colour, i wanted mine back blonde once the colour faded, so i went to the hairdressers to let them do it, i think its the safe way as it will turn an orange colour if you do it yourself and could end up costing you more money in the end, good luck.

Yes it is really hard, I did it myself. I had a reddish brown colour on my hair and then I also wanted it back blonde. I put a very high peroxide blonde on to try and strip the hair colour and it went orange!! I then put an ash blonde toner on to try and tone it down which it did but it still had an orange tinge. Instead of waiting another 6 weeks or so I just kept putting a blonde on every few days until it was ok, luckily I have strong hair and it didn't break off but I wouldn't recommend it. The best way is to grow it out unfortunately.

hi i would suggest going to a saloon but if your determined to do it at home i would use a light ash blonde as this will cancel out the orange it might need it a couple of times. or use light ash blonde all over and after add some bleach highlights bearing in mind to use good hair reconstructive products after,
hope this helps

Yes, it is. My cousin dyed her hair red and it is really hard for her to get it back to blonde. I also knew a woman who dyed her hair black (she is a cosmetologist) and she said that you never should dye your hair black unless you want to have it for a long time. She said that you actually cannot dye it back to its original color, you have to wait for your hair to grow the color out. But I dont know about Redish- orange. I have never dyed my hair that color. In fact I have never dyed my hair at all. I have just heard about it.

you'll have to bleach it. or get the colour stripped out. you cant dye hair lighter. you have to get rid of the colour. use an anti dandruff shampoo to try and fade the colour out but remember to condition it afterwards. i STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TRYING TO CHEMICALLY FIX IT AT HOME. you can run into all sorts of problems such as all your hair snapping off, the hair becoming like like gel, going a worse colour than orange, buring your scalp.
