Hi,
I think the best branch is Electronics and computers.
As the India's biggest booming sectors are IT (software+hardware). So in electronics one gets a good idea about hardware nad can work on software after little efforts.
THANK YOU.

My friend., I could understand that are planning to be an Engineer in coming days but confused ????
I should say that the only person who can answer your question is non other than yourself. First work on your strengths/interest's I am sure you will come with what you want.
Let me be very clear, if your are good in the subject during your college or schooling I would recommend to continue and dig the depths and secrets of that subject/discipline. I believe that the existing caliber/stuff within you should comeout to reach your destiny., dont force anything which you are not.... There is no use, if you opt to take anything which you are not comfortable with you end up in mess and I am sure no one will help you end of the day you would only waste money and mostly time which cant revert at any cost.
Hope this will help you take a good decision for yourself

I have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering with some specialization in Aeronautical Eng. I have a msater's in Civil. I have spent a significant amount of my working career in Electrical. I would say Mechanical is the broadest field that forms a basis for much of the other fields or is critical to the other fields through relationships of materials and basic strength and heat and material properties required of any engineering branch.

I believe it is mechatronics because of the fusion between the mechanical aspect and the electrical/electronics control and power of machines. Every industry needs this thorough understanding since it gives you a vision of the process and how to improve it.

I think it depends on your interests!
I'm interested in biology and medicine and engineering so I am in biomedical engineering.
If you are interested in electricity/computers/mehanics/chemistry/nuclear energy then the corresponding field of engineering would be your "best".

Depends on individual choice. Currently electronics and computers are hot, civil is emerging in india, and mechanical is always evergreen.
