The Book of Life referred to in the Bible is a book, or scroll, containing the names of all true believers who are enrolled in heaven and destined for eternal life.
Bible references can be found in Psalm 69:28, Daniel 12:1, Philippians 4:3, Revelation 3:5; 13:8; 17:8; 20:12,15 and 21:27.
A person's name is written in the book when they repent of their sins and are born again, calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to save them and for forgiveness of sins.

It's the book with all the names.
All the names of those who will live forever.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
In another sense, the book of life is God's Word.
In another sense, the book of life, God's Word, is the tree of life.

Everyone's name in it? I think you're talking about one of the CIA's databases.
