I saw the show on TV, maybe the food channel that showed how they were made. But you can make them at home.

Just melt some chocolate chips. Any kind, semi-sweet, milk chocolate or even dark chocolate. Melt is slowly on the stove in a double boiler. I use a big 4 cup pyrex glass measuring bowl in hot water up to half way. But you have to be careful of the hot water as you stir the chips. When the chips are half way melted, then take the bowl out of the heat. Continue to stir until all melted. Add room temp. Raisins and stir.

Stir a few times more and let sit just a minute until the chocolate is just a bit cooler. Stir again and then use your hands to drop the raisins, one at a time on a sheet of wax paper that you can put in the refrigerator to cool completely.

See how simple it is to make your own!!

FoodTV has shows about how they make candy all the time. It's called UNWRAPPED.

When a Raisin and Chocolate are very much in love, they join to become as One. The ceremony is conducted in a Temple of Candy and is quite extended - by conveyor belts. The Raisin takes a Ceremonial Cleansing and reclines on the Conveyor Belt in her most seductive pose. The Chocolate then covers her...and the rest is (rather adult) history.
