Yes, I'm an American by actions, not just by talk.

That would be nuts. Our guys need our support, and the battle is in Washington more than in Baghdad, so any protests should be by letter to Congressmen, not in public. Anything public, including here on YA, is just bloody. It's going to get people killed, guaranteed. Nobody in the US seems to have learned much from the Vietnam experience, in which anti-war protests lost a war and resulted in untold needless deaths.

I personally won't, because I think its very fine line between protesting the war and disrespecting our troops. I disagree with the war, but am not sure a fast pull out is the solution either, as it may cause more chaos than Iraq started with.
Protesting the war is fine, as long as the protesters keep in mind that opposing the war does not mean opposing our service men and women.

I would if I could afford it. I love this country. Getting into stupid wars like this hurts our country. Young people die. Resources are wasted that could be used to help our people. We anger a lot of other countries which certainly does not make America safer. I am also 36 years old and need to be responsible and stay here with my family. I hope that the people with time and resources to use doing things like that (protesting stupid wars) will go out and do it. I will make sure to go out and vote for the leaders that want to raise the standard of living for the American workers, make our country safer by actively promoting world peace, and work to ensure health care and retirement for every American.

No, and the people who say yes are lying because they are having the rally today. If they were telling the truth they wouldn't be able to answer because they would be their.
ps: Unless you have a laptop and are at the rally as we speak then I would offer you my apologies.

No, not even if I actually were against it, which I'm not.
I don't like the idea of our enemy thinking that we aren't all 100% on the side of our troops and their mission. It gives them hope that our weak-kneed Liberal Democrats will pull our troops out.

No, but I wish them well.
This helped bring the Vietnam debacle to an end and I hope we can stop this lunacy in Iraq soon!
