Both, It depends on how thick your hair is though. I have a friend with blonde hair that is thin and looks better down, I also have a friend who has long blonde hair that looks good in a ponytail. So it just depends. I personally think they both look good.

I curl my long blonde hair and it looks so fab! You should try it. On days that you don't feel like curling it, straighten it. And like one or two days a week, put it in a ponytail, but straighten the ponytail. I do it all the time. GooD LucK!

The great thing about having long hair is you can do whatever you want with it. I like it down, but if your hair is really thick, you might put it up in a barette at the top of your head and let the excess hang down like a waterfall in back.

ok if your working out, exercising, etc,, a ponytail would look great
if you were a dress it would look good down curled or not also ponytails make you look comfortable while down makes you look like your hiding something but i think it depends on what your wearing

To borrow from the candy bar ad...

"Sometimes you feel like a tail, sometimes you don't."

From one long haired blonde to another, it depends on what you're wearing, what you will be doing, and how much you feel like fussing with your hair when getting ready.
Some days I'll start with my hair one way, and then just change it, because I feel like it. With a few elastics or scrunchies, a small spray, and a brush one in my purse, I can go back and forth on a whim. Hey, we're female - we can change our minds, and our looks if we want.

My hair is also long and blonde, one of my favorite styles is the pony tail but you take a few sections of hair near and around the front of the face and pin them back. Then, you take the rest of your hair and put it up into a high pony tail. If you have bangs or fringe in front of your eyes or your face, pin them back into the puffy part.

This depends on the shape of your face. Look through magazines to find face shapes similar to yours, and see what styles appeal to you accordingly. Any style that flatters a similar-shaped-face to yours will often be perfect for you too!

Remember to keep hair healthy by getting a trim at least every six weeks. Long and damaged will get you nowhere, while healthy will look beautiful at any length.

i have long blonde thick hair, and i just got it layered. so layers always look good. plus, with layers you can wear it down or up. if you wear your hair down you will look sexy like in a pantene commercial (escpecially with sunsilk shampoo, it really works! look for a purple bottle at your local drugstore, hair cutting place, or wherever you can find it.) You can also go for the half up, half down look by taking the very front pieces of your hair and pulling them back over your head. Make sure you get all the front pieces though and if you feel brave then make it a small bump instead of pulling it back all the way. secure with a cute barette that will match your hair color. if you are feeling really flirty or just want to dress up, then i suggest straightening your hair and twisting it into a bun, letting the shorter pieces fall out and frame your face. then secure with those cute painted hair chopsticks that you find at your local drugstore for like, a buck. For cuts, then i suggest side bangs, if you are really brave. But still try and keep your hair long, there is nothing more cuter than long thick hair. It makes your hair look 10 times healthier if its long. Also, slight waves from the crown to tip is a way to look cali-chic. But i do not suggest layers or bangs if you decide to go with that style, it makes you look like too much is going on in one place.

If you have thin hair, then whenever you wear it down be sure you have the right amount of pieces framing your face (p.s layers look reaaally good on thinner-type hair.). Thin hair looks really good up, too, so for a sweet little Illinois country girl look, secure in loose, low pigtail letting pieces of hair fall out. Same goes with a ponytail, secure low and let sweet pieces frame your face. if you want to wear a high ponytail, then i suggest pulling it all the way back and really brushing it out and making it stick straight. Then pull all you pieces of hair over your head like an 80s type 'do and secure in a high ponytail. you can also do the half up- half down 'do (scroll back up and see thick hair.) If you are dressing up or just want to look nice, then you can curl your hair (BLONDE HAIR LOOKS COMPLETELY ADORABLE IN WAVES, NO MATTER HOW THICK) and pile it on top of your head, securing with a sparkly flirty barette or clip. if you want, you can let pieces fall into the front and frame your face. Now cuts are different. If you have thin hair, then i suggest a shorter style. consider cutting your hair and getting side bangs or something. Shaggy layers are also in, too. They can make the thinner-type hair look delicate yet edgy.

Those are my top picks for long, thick or thin blonde hair.
