We spend our lifetime learning, experiencing and acquiring and somewhere along the path, it's all over. When I think of infinity, or even the 2007 years AC, it seams like such a long time. When I think about my life with respect to that, it seams so short and meaningless. What should we bring with us? Are knowledge, wealth and materialistic property the right values in life to bring with us in death?

That wealth and knowledge does not die with us, Bill Gates will leave behind a foundation doing good works and the world with Microsoft Windows (hmmm...).

We all leave something behind of value even if it is just our children...

Aquiring all those things are just stops/detours on the road trip of life. Being smart, wealthy, owning lots of property won't do you any good in the afterlife that's true. But that's not whats important, its the enlightenment and truths about yourself and others that counts.

Living is all about experiences and learning who you are and how you relate to the people around you, not what achievements you make.

Death is simply death. We are born, we live, we die. There is no final exam.
