Romance will never die as long as a person still knows how to love and be loved.

One problem is that men and women have wildly differing approaches to romance. In general, I truly believe that men are the more romantic, more open-hearted sex. When they like you, they really do just like you; there's none of that feverish totting up of pros and cons that rattle endlessly through the average pragmatic female mind from the moment they agree to share spit.
It seems that the times of flowers and romance has passed and women have settled into an existence where the response time of a text message can be translated into whether a man is a lover or a hater. Has the fabulous world of technology taken away the need for romantic gestures??

I hope romance isn't dead. I try all the time to do romantic things for my mate. He isn't always romantic but there are times. Like when he's at work and he just calls and says baby, talk to me. Or he just says I love you out of the blue. I send him ecards and things to tell him I love him or a text message just to say Hi. So, there is still romance. you just have to find the right person to be romantic with.

I don't think so. I just think that a lot people are not interested in romance anymore. It's sex now we'll talk later if we feel like it. Television and music are a part of the blame as well.

It only is if you let it be. Also some people dont know how to romance someone. They might need a little push in the right direction.

It seems to have died with all the chivalry. I guess it's something with the times. It has died more with men than it has with women then and occasionally you find a guy who will sincerely try his best to add a little romance to things.

I thought it was until I started seeing my current boyfriend. He's wonderful! One evening I stopped by his apartment with a pizza, and he had the sidewalk and steps up to his apartment lined with tea candles all the way. Sigh...

No, my hubby's still romantic after 7 years, it's the small gestures that he does for me that really make me smile, and then obviously it's the 'big' things in the bedroom that keep me smiling!
