it has become very difficult for me to walk this elderly mans black lab and was wondering if anyone would be willing to take over. the man lives in birkenhead and is quite worried about the fact that he cannot get the dog out. anybody aged 16+ who is responsible and willing. email me!

Have you heard of the Cinnamon Trust?

It's a charity set up to help the elderly with their pets. It's actually based down here in Cornwall - but it may have branches up there near you. It may be worthwhile contacting them to see if they would be willing to help.

I have a friend down here who has signed up with them as a dog walker. She's on a list of volunteers & walks dogs as & when needed.
