Given that the reason to go to war with Afghanistan, Iraq, and possibly Syria and Iran was because of their supposed hands in the terrorism and murder of almost 3000 American lives on September 11th, what is it that makes you still faithful to Bush, who is responsible of the deaths of well over 3000 American lives post September 11, and thousands more lives outside of America? If we call the Middle East the Axis of Evil because of what some of them did and why they did it, doesn't that make George Bush hinself an even greater Axis of Evil?
Not here to insult, just curious as to why people really trust him, and whether or not it is because they do so because they are expected to (as Americans), or maybe because he shares the same faith.
Thanks!

Since the late 1960's countries in the middle east have been taking american diplomats and american visitors hostage and killing them. These same countries have also launched suicide attacks on our navy and our embassies. I applaud President Bush for finally having the guts to say: Enough is enough !!
As an American, I am sick and tired of worrying about what the world thinks about what we do. I don't care what they think.
The world hates us anyway, it's time to stop being politically correct and worry more about protecting "Our" country.
For decades we have been sacrificing our soldiers in order to protect "other" countries and no one complained.
Now when we defend ourselves, some say we are evil.
I disagree with President Bush on one point.
If I was President, I would stop trying to please the world and I would simply defeat the enemy with brute force.
No more playing politics, surrender or die.
As for the enemy combatants that hide among the civilian population, thereby causing civilian casualties, I think they are the lowest scum on the planet. Come out and fight, be men, not cowards. President Clinton cared more about his public image than he did about engaging terrorists. I applaud President Bush for having the backbone to take on these murderers and for saying: Enough is enough. Since time began, the middle east has been at constant war, constant bloodshed. Todays modern technology has allowed them to spew their hate throughout the world. The USA has been around for 231 years, people who say we started this war, need to take a look at history.
We have never taken Iranian people hostage, or bombed their embassies. However, once we respond militarily to these acts of terror, the world condemns us. Stop bashing President Bush and start bashing the leaders of these middle eastern countries who are constantly thirsty for blood. My personal opinion is President Bush should escalate this war to include Syria, Iran and N.Korea. He should start the draft and build our military and stop playing to the world and the media. Brute force is all these people understand, I say bring it. 3-5 years and we would have all these countries in submission. Then help them all rebuild and elect a government of the people, let them experience the life that God intended them to live, in freedom, not oppression.
Stop hating Israel and the USA and start hating the leaders of middle eastern countries who sacrifice the lives of their citizens for any and all reasons. War is the way these leaders stay in power, without war, their regimes would crumble. They build their regimes on the lives of their countrymen and the lives of their neighboring countrymen. Constant war, constant bloodshed since time began. There is nothing Godly about murder.
God Bless You...Peace.

You answered my question, so I suppose I'll answer yours. I have no faith in Mr. Bush. I nearly lost my life in Iraq when an IED exploded and shattered my right arm and tore my bracial artery. Getting wounded is a matter of war, and I don't personally blame Bush for that. I do, however, blame him for failing to dedicate the right amount of resources to winning the war before it became unwinnable. It is also the president's job to sell a war, any war, to his constituents and the American people. Bush is a failure by all accounts. I could give less of a sh-it about his faith. In any case, I will say that I think the greatest threat to civilization and humanity will come from the middle east. Islam is an expansionist ideology, and whether or not you find the various violent versus of the Hadith and the Qur'an to be only "self-defense" oriented, I can assure you that plenty of Muslims do not. Ask yourself, why does a week not go by without an act of barbarity committed by Muslims in the name of God. I doubt they share your "religion of peace" view. Furthermore, how many of these murderers will it take to completely destroy civilization if they ever get thier hands on a nuclear weapon. Is there any doubt that Iran's president would use one, should he ever get the chance? I cannot deny there are plenty of peaceful Muslims (e.g. my girlfriend), but like you, they perform intense mental gymnastics to view Islam in a positive light. No other religion in the world needs such a huge PR campaign to deflect criticism. You can talk around the issue all you want, but as long as those versus are in the Qur'an, there will be violence perpetrated by Muslims against innocent people. You can try to humanize Islam, but it's the same as trying to humanize Nazism; it's inherently intellectually dishonest. Of course, you could remove all the violent versus from the Qur'an as well, but to do so would be to change the "perfect, unchangeable" word of God. Open your eyes and see the world around you. You are not a victim. You are a follower who denies reality. I invite you to go to www.thereligionofpeace.com to see all the peace that has come out of the middle east. By and large, the middle east is autocratic and fascist. It is rife with poverty and has been so for centuries. It's women and minorities are persecuted and subjugated, and everywhere that Islam borders another culture, there is violence. Good luck finding your truth.

Americans are stupid. They like Bush because he says "God Bless America", takes hardline stances like "staying the course", and is also stupid.
I mean, how can you argue with "spreading democracy and freedom", especially when GOD is on your side (yes, he apparently chats with Ol' George and even told him to invade Afghanistan and Iraq). Democracy (read: "mob rule") sucks. The founding fathers realized this, which is why this country was founded as a republic.
Invest in your future and buy a weapon.

George uses god and the bible to justify his actions and many people are just too afraid to go against that. Its been seen throughout history, one man uses religion to advance his own personal agenda, and many other people follow him out of fear.
