Good question! I have black hair. I refer to myself and others who have black hair, as the 'black haired' girl/woman. Kinda seems unfair we don't have an exotic name you can refer us our by our, black hair. Oh well... Hey, how about, 'kohl'? I mean, I have a black eye liner pencil and the name of the color is "kohl". Wait! I think they at times refer a black haired female as, 'raven'. Isn't that how they described Snow White?

There isn't really a name. So many people's hair are different shades... It's not like in that group everyone's hair is the same. Black hair is beautiful. For a brunette you'd say "She is a brunette" for black hair you'd say "she has jet black hair"
It's hot. Just say you have black hair... don't put yourself in a group... my hair is copper... but i get counted as red head. kinda sucks.

Brunette- Brown/black
Lighter brown might be considered blonde.

Accutually, you would usually call them brunettes. I haven't heard of any other name.
Brunettes shampoo/conditioner/ect. is also made for people with chesnut to black hair.
