Hi, how's life in Hong Kong?? What about the job market? Is it tough or easy?? What about the salary?? Is it higher or lower than Canada when compared to the same position??

Hong Kong is a fast paced city with extremely competitive markets. People moves quickly onto successful ventrues and ideas and is not shy about dumping any non profitable businesses.
Employment is vast for the middle class but the higher paying jobs are fiercely competed for. It all depends on your line of work. As always, you'll do well in anything connected with sales, finance, marketing.
The greatest advantage in HK is the tax system. As income tax max out at 18% and there are no GST, VAT, PST or capital gain tax whatsoever. So even if the gross is a little less, you will net a little more.

competitve place to work, but more job than canadian job market. the unemployment rate in Hong Kong is lower than canadian job market.

we have lower tax system. about cost of living in HK, except rent, everthing else seem cheaper than Canada.

you may earn more for the same position in canada, only if you can get that job.

Child workers...... bad salaries unless you are in a foreign company and poor conditions

busy n competitive,it's not easy to earn a living there even if u r a professional accountant or DR.
