Well, having been suicidal a lot I think having anything to live for is better than feeling like that...so even if someone's living just because they'd miss the feel of chocolate in their mouth. That'd be better than having nothing to live for.
But balance, balance is optimal. So someone 'lives to eat'? Don't worry about it. Just try to live for music, or live for those you love, or for the sunset, in addition to the love of food. Anything's bad if it's the only thing you focus on.

Personally i eat to live, but the more pleasure you get in life the better right? As long as it doesn't harm you, meaning no drugs, etc and no overeating

Yes it is ok to live for pleasure. Thats what we are here for, of course you can include later on part of your pleasure to leave your roots on this earth when it time for you to go, because it is another big reason why we live. For our kids..... I am sure you like process of making them too.....practised a lot i bet. But anyways.....
You eat to live......people in proportion and good healthy weight
You eat to survive.....models and all skiny almost dying people
You live to eat....fat people that all they think if food FOOD fOOD!!!

Yes living for pleasure is important, but do not lose sight of what matters to you. Make sure your intentions are always positive ones or you are bound to fail. Being conceited is not positive, so if you find yourself looking in the mirror too much you may want to reconsider your priorities in life.

Food for thought we are more than just a physical beings.
I eat to sustain physical life!
However, as a Christian, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matt 4:4 KJV
Peace

Yeah, it's okay. What's wrong with earning a living and treating yourself well? Assuming it doesn't rise to the level of obsesson!
I have a more moderate approach..sometimes I'm all about food, or travel or shopping. Other times I'm focused on work or volunteering or being social. Just depends.

yes, it is ok living for pleasure. that is our privilige while we are alive. To be alive is to eat good balanced diet food. It sustains us to do what we like to do in our lives. so we eat to live, to enjoy life.
and live to eat, only ? doesnt make sense. We are not just here to eat. We are here to expand our horizons, to feel the beauty of living,
