K, so i'm just getting back in the dating game. met a girl that i like and we had our first date last night and i think that it went pretty good. when should i call her again to ask her out for a second date?

thanks for the input everyone. seems the majority say to call today, so i will. i hate the whole "dating rules" that you are supposed to follow and just needed some fresh opinions.

If the date went very well, she is probably thinking of you when she wakes, and wondering if you will call again, call her...life is short enjoy.

Dude, the old "get a phone call during dinner" is a way to get out of a date. I do it all the time, you always have a friend call you about an hour into a date, that way if the date is bad, you have a reason to leave. But in case I'm wrong (I'm not, but) wait a day, call tomorrow. Do NOT show up at work, = stalker. You are appearing desperate, not good, relax and give it time

Why don't u call her Sunday and let her know u had a good time.Then one day during the week ask her out again. You want her to know u had a good time.But on the other hand u don't want to seem to eager.Woman don't like to wait along time to hear from a first date if they had fun to.So by calling her Sunday you'll find out to by the way she talks to you if it is alright to ask her out in a few days.Good luck

Yes dont stall too long or she will start drawing all kinds of conclusions like: "he must not be that attracted to me", "i thought we had a good time, guess he didn't" just stupid things like that just because when women have a great time with a guy that hope that they can experience that again ASAP.So give her a call THE NEXT DAY after since the date went well.

Either that night when you get home or the next day. Strike while the iron is hot, get her response so you know where you stand and then literally flood her senses before she can realize what's happening to her. People off balance will do pretty much anything you want them to...

If it went well, make another date today. Women don’t like to play games. Be subtle, you don’t want to come off as desperate. Women also appreciate men who take initiative. Slow steps, don't rush.

Well you should probobly call her like a couple of days after the first date then ask her if she would like to go somewere. If she says yes then make sure you let her pick the time cuz that is just nice.

you can either call her the same day and thank her for the good time, tell her how you enjoyed her company. Or you can play hard to get and call her after three days max and give a silly explanation of why you couldn't call earlier.
