People would still have free will to obey him or not. Look at Satan and his demons, they know God exists, but they still choose to desobey him.

So why doesn't God show himself to humanity?

Any intelligent reasons why?

Absolutely, you want a real good reason. How would you know it was god? What could he do to prove that he was god? If you believe in satan then what would stop him from parading around as god and how would you know? There is a reason why no one has seen god or the devil, they are not real beings. They symbolize the good and evil in mans heart. God is already here, every time we perform a good deed, every time we help someone else, every time we put others before us, god is there because god symbolizes good. We should concentrate on that and not worry about proving or disproving the existence of god.

I think if God showed Himself in a definitive way to people, it would kill them. Imagine a limited being mentally trying to take in an encounter with He Who is infinite. Our heads would explode.

Also, if God were to just suddenly appear to someone would that person really have free will? I think I would be so scared out of my mind at seeing God that I would want to do what He wants out of fear when, at least from the point of view of the Christian faith, He wants people to entering into a relationship of love with Him, first by excepting His love so that they can then be transformed by that love and love God and others in return.

But on the other hand, I do think that God makes himself known to people, but with all the noise out there maybe people just don't have "ears to listen."

Because the god of this world has blinded their eyes and Jesus said it himself regarding the Jews then they have Moses and they prophets.

If they will not hear from persons of God, they would not hear and see God, even if one came from the dead.

Jesus is God wrapped up in the flesh.

Trust me, it will happen. Read the last book in the bible and it'll tell you how this is all going to go down.
God desires a relationship with his people but wants us to have faith.

Because she doesn't exist! Why does god help those who help themselves, but not those who don't help themselves?
