For the average amateur, of course it is. And it can do most of the things that an amateur requires. Here in the UK Photoshop costs £500 (nearly $1000), whilst Paint Shop Pro costs under £100. I bet those who have Photoshop don't use 10% of the functions it has - and they probably don't need them. If you must go down the Adobe route and you are an average amateur use Photoshop Elements.

In my opinion, Paint Shop is much harder to use and doesn't come near to the same finished product. Photoshop is much better.

I have both courses, and that i love Photoshop much better!! it ought to benefit this a lot besides only modifying pictures!! in case you only go with to edit pictures, Paint save professional or Photoshop factors will grant you with the outcomes you want. although, as a image dressmaker, i exploit Photoshop practically each day for some thing.

No. Please do not commit that mistake of misunderstanding.
Photoshop is much more user friendly and has better advanced features.
Since I cannot exactly pen down the pros of Photoshop,
I recommend you buy it and see for your self!
Thank you.
