I heard that they work really well on abdominals and legs, that the belt sends tiny electronic pulses to your muscles to make them contract. They claim that 10 minutes is equivalant to 600 sit-ups...anyone know about these or tried them?

I tried one once and it feels very very weird...

There is limited proof that they work. I think really, they're marketed as a top up to regular exercise. Put it this way, you're not gonna lose weight and get abs with it on if you sit in front of the computer all day and eat as much as you want.

However, if you do regular exercise, and eat a balanced diet, and don't have excess fat around your tummy, yeah, they probably help a bit, but as all products out there that promise amazing results in two days, you've got to be wary. I'd bet you'd get 20 times more effect by doing 50 sit ups a day than having those things on all day.

i don't think 10 min are as good as 600 sit ups but they do work as long as you get regular exercise and eat a proper diet
they tone more than reduce fat and you have to use them on a regular basis
hope this helps

Don't you think if they really worked well that every walmart and walgreens would be selling them so they could get in on the profits?
