hiya first of all shes a baby, and all this is new and she is feeling alittle scared, talk to her and stroke and pet her as much as she will let you,let her roam round your home, let her sniff and take in all the new smells, sights and sounds, boxer dogs are very intelligent and sensitive, give her plenty of love and reassurance, some chew toys and exercise you will need to be patient and understanding, goodluck with her.

A dogs body temperature is higher than a persons, and a small pup with a fine coat like a boxer may feel a bit chilly when they get out of their warm bed. Something to eat and a run around should warm her up.
As well as that she is a baby in a new environment. Her mother and litter mates are gone and you are still a stranger! It will take time for her to adjust.
And as someone else sais, it can be a sign of pain as well as cold or distress so just keep an eye on her but its fairly normal and I don't think you've got much to worry about.
Do you like getting out from under the duvet in winter mornings?!

You didn't say how old she is but she could be a bit nervous being in new surroundings and being a boxer she has short hair and could be a bit cold. Does she have a warm place to sleep? I have a Pit mix and when it gets cold, even when she is indoors she sometimes liked to get under the covers when she was a pup.

If you've only had her for 2 days, she's still getting use to her new surroundings. She's most likely nervous and scared. My jack russel does the same thing when he's scare, nervous or uncomfortable with a situation.

yuor dog is just probably nervous about her new surroudings, it should stop the shivering when the puppy gets comfortable in her new home and is familiar with every thing..

Yes she is probably nervous with leaving her mum and the change of environment but are you sure that she hasn't got worms as that can cause her to be anaemic and therefore cold. If she doesn't settle down please take her to the vet. Good luck!

She could be just missing her mother give her lots of cuddles...sometimes shivering in a dog means that they are in pain...if I were you I'd take her to the vet just in case.

She is still trying to get used to your house. She is probably a little overwhelmed but after a few more days she will be fine.
