There are many liberal (non-fundamentalist, non-evangelical) Christian pastors and congregations among mainstream denominations: Episcopal, United Church of Christ, Presbyterian, American Baptist, some United Methodists, etc.
Since they don't turn exclusively to the Bible for their faith, and don't assume it can be interpretted literally, what are the bases for Liberal Christian Faith? What does spiritual authority mean to a non-fundamentalist, non-evangelical Christian?
