It barks constantly for hours on end...The owner sleeps right trhough it. {??????}...Sometimes through the night ..right now its 730 am on a saturday and it has been going for 1/2 an hour non stop....I did end up calling at 4 am the other day because I just couldn't take it anymore..But here we are again...Tomorrow is my sleep in day and if this happens tomorrow I am going to have a freakout!..I like my neighbour I LOVE dogs and I hate conflict....Hmmmm dilema!....What do you guys think?

i love dogs to but this kind of noise is unacceptable. If it is as annoying as you say it is make an anonymous call to you local SPCA, tell them you problem and they will pay a visit to your neighbour and tell them to either put a muzzle on the dog or find some other way to keep it quiet. You as there neighbour do not deserve this and I personally think your neighbour should be embaressed about their dog making so much noise. I hope you get your problem sorted out.

Talk to your neighbor again. Tell him that if the dog barks non stop in the middle of the night you might have to call the police. Say you don't want to but it might be your only option. This might make him realize that he is really bugging you.

You can call the cops ad make an anonymous complaint. Just tell them the address and they will speak to the owner of the dog. If ou ever want them to get fined, though, you have to make a formal complaint (give your name).

You must have a noise bylaw in your area. Check to see if there is one. Since you have talked to your neighbor, and the problem still exists, contact the authorities. They will enforce the law.

Call animal control. They will come and give him a warning. If he ignores it, call again and they will fine him.

well, if i was you i would shoot the dog, but that would be cruel!!! just tell your neighbors to shush up the dog!!!!!!!!! or move away....
