Where do you put the scale, on carpet floor??? Or tile floor???? EAch gives a drastic difference in weight and help will be appreciated! :-)

on any hard non carpeted surface

flat wood floors are the best. Carpets are squishy and unstable, and tile floors are generally uneven. A flat even floor is best.

I have been told that carpet is the best place. But the carpet must be very thin, and not cushiony. I go to weigh-ins alot for fights, and they always have the scale on a thin rug-type deal.
