Every morning when I wake up it is so static, and whatever I do, it won't go away! I wash my hair everyday, but I don't want to but a lot of product in it that makes it stiff. Help!

Use conditioner. If that doesn't help, use a leave-in conditioner. Put just a little bit in your hand and spread it around. Run your hands over your hair. That should help. Or, you could try a very light hairspray. That works, too. Bottom line is that your hair needs moisture!

Or, you could wear a hat. Or a ponytail.

You need more moisture in your home. When my hair gets all static-y I put a large pot of water with a few whole cloves (smells good) in it on the back burner of the stove on med. low heat. I always set the timer for an hour or an hour and a half (mostly so I won't forget it's on) and let it steam. It works great if you have a hood vent that isn't vented to the outside, that will circulate the steam a bit more.... Don't do it when your sleeping, and don't ever let the pot boil dry. ( Ya gotta use some common sense with this one!)

IF you have some money buy a humidifier cool or warm mist, which ever you prefer and start it up in your bedroom about 30 minutes before you go to bed.
