As well as being a popular pagan religion practised by the Roman Army, Mithraism had many similarities to Christianity. Mithras was born of a virgin, remained celibate, his worship involving baptism, the partaking of bread marked with a cross and wine as sacrificial blood, held Sundays sacred and Mithras was born on 25th of December. Mithraist called themselves 'brother' and were led by a priest called 'father' (Pater). The symbol of the father were a staff, a hooked sword, a ring and hat.

The competing Christians tried to destroy all records of Mithraism, building churches over the top of Mithraic temples and erazing as much as they they could.

There are NO coincidences.
The bible is purely plagiarized from many older myths. The Jesus myth comes from where you speak of while the garden of eden story was plagiarized from the older Sumerian tablets. It's just "amazing" that in the original version 'Eve" was male, the snake a good guy trying to help humans escape the enslavement of the Annaki.

Mithras was born of a rock, in some cases the dawn. ( A virgin rock? No...)
Sunday is the feast day, yes, it's true. But only in Roman Mithraism! This came after Christianity...
Bread and wine? This came from medieval text in Persia, long after Christianity originated. AND, it states that the Iranian Mithra used a plant called Haoma.
Born December 25? But was Jesus?
And it doesn't matter much that they were calling each other father or brother-it's common!

Not at all! What about the ending of a prayer with Amen, probably from Amen Ra, in Egyptian mythology. Also, there was no record of the date of birth of Jesus, but because they already had the feast of Saturnalia in Roman society in December, they decided to appropriate it for their own use when changing to a Christian Rome, so it makes perfect sense that they should also choose the 25th as his birthday, because it was already being celebrated.

All people were given religion (belief in God) through Adam and Eve.
The writers of the Gospels were inspired by God to form the Christian church year with the Jewish church year as a back-drop. Put the Jewish church year side by side with the Christian church year and you will See the direct correlation between the Old Testament and the New. The seasons of the Christian church year show the new promise of the return of Christ.
for a few examples:
Passover = Release from captivity of Egypt
Easter = Release from captivity of sin
Jewish Pentecost = Giving of the law
Christian Pentecost = Giving of the Holy Spirit
Hanukkah = Return of Gods light to the Temple
Christmas = Sending of Gods Son to the Earth

The Jesus story is comparable to the Tragic Greek Dramas developed in the 5th Century BC which were derived from myths and legends. The central character, in this case Jesus, is a hero who lives for honor and fame by serving his city. The hero's destiny and ambition were to display courage by courting danger and to live a life of glory which would climax in a great and noble death. By sending suffering and evil the Gods could bring about the hero's downfall. Tragedy was intended to evoke pity and fear and produce an experience which cleansed these emotions. Suffering brought knowledge of worldly matters and to the individual, wisdom and insight into the nature of his being.

It is not difficult for me to imagine a religion coming out of Persia that resembles Christianity.
You must remember the Jews had prophets like Daniel and Ezekiel in Persia in 6 BC.
They were not there as evangelists, but as captives.
But they became well known and relied upon by the kings of Babylon, Media, & Persia.
Daniel became known as an interpreter of dreams.
However Daniel said it was his God that interpreted the dreams for him.
Having been there through five kings, he became well known.
That is why the kings of the east knew that the star over Bethlehem meant the Messiah was born.
The foretelling of the Messiah was the greatest message of the Jews in that era.
He was to be their deliverer, on the order of Moses, or so they thought.

My belief is that God left hints in other cultures about God's plan to redeem mankind. When the pagans heard the gospel, it fit. There are examples from modern cultures of this phenomenon as well.
"This is an amazing story of Don and Carol Richardson going into an area inhabited by people who were cannibals and how they found things in that tribe's culture that allowed them to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ so effectively that many became Christians. It also shows that missionaries don't need to introduce western culture to indigenous peoples but do better when merely giving them the Truth of Scripture and let the people themselves decide how that affects the way they live."

If stated correctly it is Christianity that contains all of the major elements of Mithra-ism, and that should indicate that there is something wrong with Christianity.

Coincidence? Not hardly. The spiritual war that still goes on today is between satan and Christ. satan wanted to be the begotten son of God, instead of Christ.... and the war is still on...
Satan was created way before Genesis happened. Way, way before that time - in the last age. That war was going on then, and won't end until the end of this particular earth age.
Satan has been attempting to destroy any and all of Gods plans; and that goes for 500 yrs before Christ arrived on the scene.
People may not know what the deal is, but satan sure does, and did. There are lots of religions that are similar to Christs teachings - and, those you read about that are so similar as this, are no surprize - they were inspired and directed by satan as just one more attempt at putting doubt into the minds of men.
Satan started a war in the last age, then he showed up in the garden of eden and impregnated Eve, which was just another attempt at interrupting that pure bloodline from which the Christ child was to come. So, from way, way before this flesh life we know, satan was messing around and trying to screw things up.
He's still doing it, and his favorite place to do it is behind the pulpit. Ever read in Ezekiel where satan's name Lucifer is translated to bright and morning star? Thats also what Christ is called - our morning star. He copies everything Christ does.
And, he's gonna come back in the end pretending and disguised as Jesus Christ and will deceive the mass majority. If you understand the nature of the war, you will also understand what the enemy has been doing from the beginning of time. But you need knowledge in order to gain wisdom. Theres not a whole lot of either one of those in this world today. And its no wonder.
