After you have gotten replies from those attending and have hired a caterer, a hall, a band and the weddding cake. Here is what I suggest. After the crowd settles down, the best man should get up to speak from the center of your table, make an introduction to the bride and groom and introduces a pastor for a prayer, followed by a short speech about the bride and groom from the best man, then a toast. All followed by dinner. And after dinner dance.

It's basically up to you.

I'd start with the meal, then do the toasts, then spotlight dances, then bouquet & garter toss, then the cake cutting, then on with the party.

Common etiquette states that it's acceptable for guests to leave after the cake has been cut, so for my own wedding reception, we did that after all the spotlight dances.
