Why aren't maps made in the southern hemisphere up the other way.

Britain is in the Northern hemisphere, therefore north is top.
Britain is of course also the centre of the universe.
This all stems from ancient ideas, going right back to when the earth was flat and Britain was at it's centre. Science has altered all that, turning the unsuspecting flat earth into a spear, and moving the centre of the universe billions of light years away.
Strangely enough though the northern hemisphere has still remained at the top! Could it be that air, earth fire & water are really the elements, and that we don't have to bother about the periodic table after all? Life is so confusing.

because even thou the earth is on a tilt, north is upwards and south is as the bottom, therefore maps have north at the top for acurate representation
