I filed signel last year and this we we are married. We are try'in to efile and it says that my agi is wrong from last year. would that be line 1 of last years w-2 please help

No, to find your AGI you'll need to have last year's tax return. AGI is farther down on the form. If you filed form 1040 or 1040A, it's at the bottom of the first page. On 1040EZ it's around line 4.

Your AGI might be the same as box 1, or it might not be, depending on whether you had any other income, or any adjustments.

line 1 of w2 is just what you received from the employer that sent you the w2. It does not include any other income that you might have received for example interest, dividends.

The adjusted gross income is found on your last years tax return. The line that it is on is dependent on what type of tax return you filed for 2005. If you filed a form 1040, your adjusted gross income is on line 37.
