Mine was 4 months old when she was fixed. She came home the next day and she wasn't any where near as active as you'd expect a four month old kitten to be. But you gotta realize these little kitties have a big cut on their belly and it hurts them to move. she'll heal up. Just watch her incision for signs of infection, and get her staples or stitches out (if you need to) when your vet recommends it.

Cats need a few days to recoup after being spayed. If the surgery was today or late yesterday she maybe be still a little groggy. Just keep an eye on her. Make sure the incision is not red, swelling or bleeding. If any of those occurr call your Vet ASAP.

I think your kitten will be alright. She is just sore and probably groggy from the anesthesia. Just keep an eye on the incision. If it get red, swollen, and warm to the touch she could have an infection. good luck.

That's a pretty major surgery, just remember. When we got our six month old female neutered she literally did not even move for three entire days. She laid on one spot of the bed and let my husband stroke her head. He put a bowl of water and food near her and she would drag herself to it. But for the first day I don't think she took anything. Your kitty just needs your gentlness and a very quiet and tranquil environment for about three days at least. Don't move her if you don't absolutely have to.
Cats are so much better than people at doing what they need to do when they are sick or injured. People just keep trying to force themselves to keep on even when they are not well and that makes matters worse. Your cat is listening to her natural intelligence that tells her what she needs. And right now that is rest and stillness. If she still hasn't moved in three to four days then you might call your vet.
Just watch her stitches and make sure that the cut is not infected. That is about it.

It depends on how long it has been since she was spayed, since she just had surgery it is expected for her to be keeping to herself more than usual and to be feeling groggy. If it has been longer than you feel is normal than you should call the vet that spayed her and see what they think.

Try giving her some wet food. It might help her out of her groggyness. I have a friend who had a kitten spayed and just just layed around for days until my friend bought her some yummy wet food and she perked right up.

I think it's normal to be a little groggy for a week or so after surgery, I don't know. We are getting our kitty fixed this week.

She just got an open operation! What do you expect. But I would call the vet to make sure she is alright.
