I'm doing a project on Mangroves which are located in Asia. Could someone tell me what exactly are mangroves and how they create an impact on nature (like climate changes, sea level etc)?

Mangroves are very cool. They are short trees that grow very close together in salt water and have their roots partially exposed to the air, so they form a kind of "weave" bunched all together along a shore. There are often little open canals you can use to boat through them with a canoe or something narrow. Birds love them and they provide a wonderful wind break against erosion.
