ok i'm an atheist and i have to say that i've seen many people do things that doesn't even make sense to them but they keep doing them for no real reason.why is that. like christians are trying to convert me but i don't want to convert unless they put the proof in my face and right now i'm doing a favor for the church and i don't even know why i'm doing the only reason i got is that their raising money for the homeless and the sick.now the sick i will help but some bum who probably dropped out of school .why am i even doing this please answer and no rude comments to me anyways

I believe that you are doing this to HeLp OtHeRs. Even though you may not have the same agenda as this "church" you believe that it may/will help someone and that is important to you. You are basically a GOOD, CARING person. I admire that. I hope that someday, someone will be able to convince you that GOD does exist but that has to be proof to you and not to anyone else. Have a nice life and thanks for helping others in your own way you are a caring individual that deserves to be in a community of others who care about our HuMaN RaCe.

ha ha.. hmmm i guess that yur friends just wanna share their god with u. cause when u accept jesus into yur life, he will bring lots of joy to u. and i think that he is real. cause so far, the scientist said they found noah's ark, and all that which somehow proofs that the stories in the bible are somewhat true. and also, jesus have answered me. when i am feeling sad and is crying, i prayed to him for peace. i somehow felt calmer and not so sad. also, once it started raining. and i prayed to him. if his answer is yes, make it stop raining. if not, make it rain heavily. and it stopped. also, once, i was running late for school. it was 730 already and i was suppose to reach at 715 plus. somehow, i managed to rush there on time. cause the principle was doing his talk and the teachers scolding the students. which helpped me drag some time.
THREE CHEERS FOR JESUS!!!
and i think you have a really kind heart. think of it this way, everybody deserves a chance to prove himself. and christians are doing things as they are trying to bring good and love and joy into this world. and wanna spread it.

being an atheists does not mean you dont have compassion ... in fact i have found the most compassionate people in atheism
i am not Catholic and yet i am applying to work at a dementia unit run by nuns ... i admire their work and want to help
dont worry about the whys .. just follow your heart
