now its been about 5months that we never spoke. he contacted me, we went for dinner on thursday. he said that he wouldnt be here if he only wanted one thing...meaning that i said no at 1st.. should i believe him.

Yes. If you had giving in 5 months ago then you surely would not be together now. I'm guessing you have feelings for him or you wouldn't have gone to dinner with him. Stand your ground. Men usually fall for the ones that are a challenge. Guess you showed him a challenge and he realizes that you're worth the wait. Good luck and God bless!

Tell him you wouldn't be here if he only wanted one thing to. Now he can prove what he really wants and he needs to remember you have no problem saying no to something that you don't want to do.

If you want to try to date him again just remember how you feel and where you stand and don't compromise that for anyone.If he has true feelings for you , he will understand and be willing to wait until you are ready.
