best going to a salon but if not make sure you get a brown with red in it going straight brown will make it look greenish after a couple of washers so be careful

go to a salon and get your hair stripped. that will remove the brown and bring your natural colour back.
Or if you have to do it at home, you could try going down 2 shades every time you dye it or just do bleach.
Bleach is damaging, so only do it once and then wait a week and do it again I guess.
I bleached my hair 3 times in 2 days and it got pretty messed up and I knew it would but I really wanted the blonde colour....
your best bet is to go to a salon. I know it can get expensive but it's better than frying you hair.

If you don't want to go to a salon (which i suggest really you should) You need to dye it a colour which has a 3 in it, for example 6.3 or 7.3 - then dye the brown over that
this will pre pigment the colour before you put on the chosen colour, you will need to do this to stop your hair looking a khaki green colour

I think the best method is cut a sample of your hair and dye it in the shade of brown that you have....if it looks too dark try a lighter brown. Of course that really depends of what colour blond you are Baby blond...natural blond....honey blond....ash blond. Better safe than sorry.

Go to a salon
If at home buy a good brand dye in the box of your color choice.
and make sure there is no ammonia in it!
Thats most important! with going from blonde to another darker color.
good luck!

I would suggest going to a hair stylist. I messed with my color and ended up with just that...a mess that cost a whole lot to fix.
