There are over two billion women on the planet of child bearing age-do you know how many have had or will have a virgin birth-not even one. Some people want to try living in the real world.

There is a difference in the belief you are referring to. The idea of the Virgin belief is not actually a doctrine but lots of catholics accept it. It has three parts but very few people realise this..
Virgin conception - no man involved
Virgin birth - that Mary remain physically intact during childbirth and
perpetual virginity - that Mary never had sex with Joseph

Augustus, emperor of Rome at the time of Jesus' birth, was often called the "Son of God" and supposedly had a virgin birth also.
When Jesus' followers claimed that He was born of a virgin, was the Son of God, did they mean it literally? Or was it a political statement, essentially saying that it is Jesus, not the powerful Emperor of Rome, who is in God's favor?

we're mammals. we don't have virgin births. lots of other animals can, and quite a few of them do it regularly. did u know that certain animals can even change their sex to fit the need for survival.
oh, the jesus thing; don't bet on it.
