I have to perform a play today and I am really nervous!!!!

It's okay, relax....my daughter told me how nervous she was her first play and she nailed it, (had to drag her off the stage with a hook), she is now persuing acting is doing very well...
Look at this way, even the pros who do it every nite on broadway still have the jitters, they do, so why should/nt you , it means you care and that is good...take some deep breaths before you get on stage and remember these words.....you can do it...good luck....break a leg...!!!!

well if you're not used to being on stage its just normal anxiety woes or you may be anxious about something else also.......sounds like a normal case of Nerves to me........Good luck I'm sure you'll do great

Maybe it's an"adrenalin rush",it's healthy,it will make you alert,but if you become abnormally nervous then you can check your caffeine intake too.
