My boyfriend lives in Israel and got a great job there, so I am moving too. But almost everyone in Israel speaks either Hebrew or Russian or Arabic, so I thought Hebrew would be best.

If you are moving here (to Israel) there is a program called the ULPAN which teaches new immigrants Hebrew. Maybe you should check into that. Also most Israelis do speak English, so if you get stuck you can always communicate in English. Not to mention that there are certain communities here that are American. If you need more info feel free to email me via yahoo answer ( I moved here about a year and half ago!)

Have your boyfriend go to Stematzky's and get you the book you are looking for and send it to you via mail. I live in Israel as well and if you are going to be in Jerusalem, then about 90% of the people here speak english. Good Luck
