Hello Moloi.. :)

I do accept all of the Old Testament as the word of God..but when Jesus came..He fulfilled the Old Testament..

We no longer have animal sacrifice for the atonement of our sins..for Jesus paid the price for our sins (sacrifice) when He died on the cross, for all of mankind.. :)

When Jesus rose from the dead and sat at the right hand of God..the Holy Spirit was freely given, to all that ask of Him..to teach us all things concerning the word of God.. :)

Also before the gentiles could not receive the gift of the Holy Spirit..now All can receive the gift, when one gives their heart to the Lord.. :)

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth was from the days of old..Jesus said we are to not repay evil for evil..

We are to repay evil with Love.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

I don't know what Christian only accepts some of the Old Testament. One would have to question their Christian authenticity of their claiming to be Christian.

The Old Testament and New Testament are entwine with each other. Many think of the Old Testament as just a history period leading up to the New Testament. However, once you start studying the Bible as a whole, you will see how both the Old Testament and New Testament go hand in hand.

The only contradiction from the Bible are from those that want to dispute the authenticity of the Word of God. There is NO contradictions within the pages of the Holy scripture.

If those that dispute the Bible would learn about the times and customs of those days, they would see the Bible is all truth.

The only thing that came "obsolete" from the Old Testament was the sacrifice of animals.

One has to ask, Why did Jesus come to earth?

Philippians 2:6, He, "made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

Hebrews 5:9: “And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

1 Peter 1:20: “He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you”

Hebrews 9:26: “He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.”

Hebrews 10:5-10: “Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you had no pleasure. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come-- in the volume of the book it is written of Me-- to do Your will, O God.' " Previously saying, "Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the law), then He said, "Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first that He may establish the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

Before Jesus died on the cross for our salvation was the OT. The OT was given to Gods chosen people as the Law to live by, particularly the first 5 books, known to Jews as the Torah. It involved animal sacrifices, harsh punishments etc to appease God. When Jesus died, he was the perfect sacrifice and most of the OT became obsolete.

Cheers!

The bible from cover to cover is about Jesus Christ, both old testament and new testament. This is what needs to be kept in mind when reading the bible. And yes, the entire bible is the inspired word of God.

You know not what you ask. If you were to study the bible instead of trying to find fault with something that has no fault, you would know the answer to your own question and would not have to make an as s of yourself by asking such silly questions.

No one excepts everything in the Bible. The Bible is contradictory in some cases so it would be impossible to accept everything.

I promise you, you'll get theists telling you it is from god and they accept it all as fact, yes, even all the contradictions.
