I think that he said "apparently" because he would not have kissed you if he didn't like you. I'm sure he likes you.

Apparently is normally something I say when someone asks a dumb/obvious answer and I want to be a smart-a$$. I think that if someone is going to kiss you.... they obviously like you and there is no reason to ask "do you like me?" Nobody kisses someone if they aren't interested in them. Especially if he was sober...

Kiss does speak louder than words, but sometimes good to be sure...could be underlying issues...like a rebound or a player....doesn't hurt to have confirmation no matter how stupid the question may sound to others.

I'd call that a "you caught me off guard" kind of question. If you guys are swapping spit, I'd think there is some inkling of feelings...don't you? Why would you destroy the mood with that kind of query?

I think it means he does like you but you shouldn't ask these questions. If he likes you, he will show you, not tell you.
Be patient and good luck
