Cheer up! It's actually not that bad...

If you're flying with El-al, you're in good hands and will have plenty of movies and tv shows to watch and a variety of music channels to listen to. You also have a magazine about neat stuff going on in Israel, on the pouch behind every seat.
With a flight that long, every plane will have tvs and music.
*Get your friends to write letters that you'll read on board. it's fun
*Bring books
*Take walks around the aisles (i'm serious) and check out the people. It can get really interesting..

have fun and enjoy ur stay!

I am usually up all night packing before a big trip so I tend to sleep easily on planes. However, I also use long-haul flights to catch up on films I've missed. I listen to music (both on my iPod and whatever the airline has...just to see if there's anything new I might like). I read. I buy loads of magazines or a book. Sometimes, I have to read/do work. If it's a crappy airline, I bring my own DVDs and watch on my laptop. I've seen people knitting and crocheting on board...

Drink lots of water and move around every so often if you're awake. It helps with the circulation and dehydration.

Usually planes which fly on such a long distance have tv's and dvd's ! So probably you'll be able to watch movies, or listen music.

If you like to read then you should take a pocket book with you with smth interesting, then the time will pass you by, or you can take a good sleep, or take a notebook if you have one.
Or you can chat to a cute neigbor in the next seat!!!

Well enjoy your flight

good luck

In general, the best thing to do is get some sleep. Chances are you're landing during the daytime, and falling asleep during the day only makes jet-lag worse. The movies on board are decent to good most of the time, but if you end up with a bad one it's best to bring something to watch rather than something to read. In my experience it isn't so comfortable attempting to concentrate on a plane, which makes reading books frustrating. However sleep is divine, and since you can't really do much productive on a plane, it's best to sleep.

Think about all the horrible things that you have done in this life and repent. After 10.5 hours you'll be ready for a clean start. You are travelling to Israel, be very afraid.
