Will you find metabolites of dopamin, epinepherine, or norepinepherin - and what would they be?

If a person ODs, they probably wouldn't find anything from the OD event in the urine, because the Kidneys wouldn't have had time to filter out the toxins into the urine. The only thing I would think that you would find is evidence of previous drug use/abuse.

A standard urine test will be ordered. The standard panel includes Cocaine, THC, Benzodiazepines, Barbiturates, Amphetamines, Opiates, and PCP.

If the overdose is suspected to be from a therapeutic drug, then a comprehensive urine screen should be ordered. The comprehensive analysis includes Antidepressants, Anticonvulsants/Antiepileptics, NSAIDs, Opioids, and many other drugs (including the general Drugs of Abuse).

Dopamine, Epinephrine or Norepinephrine are not included in a standard urine drug screen.

The blood will also be drawn and analysed. The blood tells a better tale of what drug the person overdosed.

It ain't CSI. Normally, they'll do the routine tests and not check every esoteric test known to man.
