DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT GIRL WHO SAID TO GET A NEW JOB. You should never have to move out of your job just because this guy doesn't want to be with you anyway. This is why you should never mix work with love. You hold your head up high and prove you still got it, without him. He will expect you to come into work upset and heartbroken. You don't ever show him that part of you. Show up and act like you are running the show... and eventually you will start to feel like that without even having to force yourself.

Quick question: Why did you date your supervisor? Didn't you think about the consequences before dating him? Good luck getting over him when you have the priviledge of seeing him everyday.

Well you are a smart woman to recognize breaking up with your bf who is your supervisor and therefore has you by the short and curlies regarding whether you keep your job or not is a problem.
Instead of working on getting "over him". You need to work on getting back "under" him. If he get's his puss-ee and bj's on a regular basis from you, your career is sure to advance.

That's going to be hard. Been there. If you have a strong personality and it's not easy for people to influence you or make you feel bad, then you might be able to get through it. If you're like me and your feelings easily get hurt then you might either want to get another job or pray that he resigns or get transfered. They have good reasons to say don't mix your professional life with your personal life....

Your first mistake is getting involved with your supervisor. Get a new job and don't repeat your first mistake.

Oooh, sticky situation.
Only time heals a broken heart (and sometimes it takes a long time). Try to socialize more and meet more guys to get your mind off this one. And, always remember the lesson about dating co-workers, especially a boss.

i went through this and it was hard to deal with him. i asked him nicely in private to schedule us on different shifts as much as possible. i ended up quitting when i found out he had hooked up with another co worker. if you work for a chain company see if you can work at another store..

Omg, this is very hard and I'm sorry you have to go through it. Maybe, you should quit, cause everything about work will remind you of him.
